Chef Richard Sandoval has published two cookbooks, New Latin Flavors and Modern Mexican Flavors. Both cookbooks offer vibrantly seasoned Latin dishes, inspired by his popular restaurant fare but carefully streamlined for the home cook. The book is a study into sustainability and the food cycle for early readers and bee enthusiasts alike. The story tells of a young Ricardo who meets a Queen Bee in his abuela’s backyard, who educates him on the importance of pollination and conservation.
